So the question becomes, do we want to turn that on and leave new users in a
moderation queue until someone gets to them (minutes, hours, days, months,
years later)? Or do we want to deal with the spam that's coming in?

This seems like a trickle that will eventually become a flood. I have a
feeling that google is catching a lot more email already than is being even
posted to our pending queue, much less the few that made it onto this list.

I'm more apt to let the spam through until we're getting 2 a day, but we're
almost to that point as is.

For anyone who is/was a new user to a mailing list, what are your opinions
of turning this option on? Would it stop you from posting?
