I've got Growl 1.1.6 running successfully on my OS X 10.4.11 G5.
Recently I've been getting a Growl that there's a new version of Growl
available. Sounds great, I do the download and install. Boy was I
surprised to discover that the new version only works with OS X 10.5
or newer.

Now every day or so, I get a Growl that there's a newer version
waiting for me (but it's a version I can't use).

I finally had to shut "Check for updates automatically" off.

I've got no problem with progress, but why isn't the Growl smart
enough to know that the new version won't work on my Mac and not waste
my time by Growling.
