I've got Growl 1.1.6 running successfully on my OS X 10.4.11 G5. Recently I've been getting a Growl that there's a new version of Growl available. Sounds great, I do the download and install. Boy was I surprised to discover that the new version only works with OS X 10.5 or newer.
Now every day or so, I get a Growl that there's a newer version waiting for me (but it's a version I can't use). I finally had to shut "Check for updates automatically" off.
