Okay, some research shows I goofed. Growl comes up just fine, but
Growl Menu does not kick in at startup in 1.1.6, as it did in 1.1.4. I
have to open the preference pane before I see it in the process list
in Activity Monitor or in the menu bar.

Is anybody actually reading this?
