Every once in a while since switching to Snow Leopard I have found Growl Helper App just goes off into its own little world, effectively stalling all connections to it and eating up near 100% of my CPU.
I have found that this only occurs when adding an additional screen to my computer (I.E. plugging a second monitor in, changing the resolution, unplugging a monitor). It appears as though a second GrowlHelperApp is spawned and the original one is the one that goes causes all of these problems. I can just then quit GrowlHelperApp and everything works fine until I plug the second monitor in. Anyone else see this behavior? Is it a known bug? I have Growl 1.2, but this problem also existed with 1.1. Thanks, Michael -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Growl Discuss" group.
