I saw a discussion thread a few weeks ago that seemed to indicate that the development team was close to finishing up work on Growl 1.2.1, but then the thread suddenly stopped and we have yet to see a release, so my first question is... WHEN are we going to see the next release?
The second question is more of a missing feature request... Kind of an obviously missing feature if you ask me... How about a way to close ALL Growl notifications on your screen WITHOUT having to resort to turning Growl OFF to do it? I have lot of automated jobs running on my 5 Mac network here and many of the machines post Growl notifications when these jobs are run. I of course want to be able to review these notifications on other computers on the network, but many times, if I have not been on the particular computer for the entire day, the screen is literally plastered from top to bottom with Growl notifications. Obviously far too many to go through and close each notification one by one, so the only current way to quickly clear these from the screen is to SHUTDOWN Growl and then turn it back on again. This seems like kind of a drastic method to be forced to use, but I have found no CLEAR Notification option anywhere in the application, so I must assume that 1.2 does not provide one. Perhaps this is already a feature that has finally been added to the application, but in case such an obvious omission remains, PLEASE add a CLEAR button! Thanks in advance for any updates the developers may be able to provide us here. It seems odd that all the other components on the Growl website have long ago been upgraded to 1.2.1, but the app itself remains suspended at 1.2. Cheers.
