System is a venerable quad-processor Powermac G5 running OS X 10.5.8 - up until recently I'd had no real problems with my Growl/Growlmail installation, however within the past week or two, GrowlMail had started to cause mail hangs, usually locking the system up severely enough to warrant a hard restart.
In case my installation was in some way broken, I decided to uninstall and reinstall both Growl and GrowlMail. Both uninstalled without problems, and Growl reinstalled without difficulty. However, attempting to install GrowlMail results in an installation failure, specifying that 'The Installer could not install some files in "/tmp/ GrowlMail-Installation-Temp"'. Any ideas? On examination, the directory it's unable to install some files from is empty. Al -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Growl Discuss" group.
