okay so, i have a carbon app. it's not going to be cocoa for a long
time, maybe a couple of years.
what do you suggest i do?
Although I think it's a valid point that pointing the Carbon
link to the Cocoa documentation is confusing (and perhaps that
can be addressed by adding a note at the top of the Cocoa
documentation), I also think that the change presents a good
opportunity to learn some Objective-C and Cocoa basics. (Writing
a little Objective-C code won't make your app "a Cocoa app", and
it won't break anything you already have in place.) I don't
think you need a wrapper class or anything to avoid getting
"Cocoa cooties", just embrace it and get it done. :-)
