Hi, I have been having this problem for a while now. I don't get notifications when I receive an E-mail anymore. When I go into system preferences--> Growl--> Applications, I find that Growl is only set to Notify me when a "New Junk Mail" is received. It doesn't matter how often I reset this back to "New Mail", once you shut system Preferences it defaults back to "New Junk Mail"
