I don't remember when I fooled around with something that pointed me
to Growl, but after a recent cleanup I keep getting a window popping
up stating:

  "Growl Installation Recommended"
"This program displays information via Growl, a
centralized notification system. Growl is not
currently installed; to see Growl notifications from
this and other applications, you must install it. No
  download is required."

But "this program" is never identified. Is there a way to find out
what it is? I'd like to know. Thanks!

I'm running Mac OS X 10.4.11 with the latest versions of Safari &
Firefox often running (though not necessarily when I get this
notification).
