Hi, I just purchased a new imac 27" from Apple. I just noticed I have Growl installed as a Pref Pane, but I didn't install it (never heard of it till I saw that). I'm wondering, is there some way or program that will self-install Growl?
I just finished installing Adobe CS5 and Office 2008 ... along with all their updates. I also installed Bootcamp, and installed Windows7 since I sometimes need to pop into Windows. So, can anyone confirm if something else I've installed uses Growl? I'm a little concerned that getting a new computer and having some 3rd party software installed (not that I might not like and use Growl), but would be a concern if a "NEW" computer came with it already installed.
