There is a bug in GrowlMail which causes RSS feeds to show up in Growl, though they are not removable in the options pane. This only happens when I add an RSS feed to my Inbox (to view it with my normal mail). There are checkboxes for all my e-mail accounts, but none for RSS feeds and even with all of the checkboxes disabled they still appear (with "Only notify for emails in your Inbox" checked). Disabling Growl notifications for RSS feeds would fix the problem as I don't particularly care about them, though it would be nice to be able to choose which RSS feeds will display Growl alerts.
