Hi, So i have been using growl with speech notification for all of my applications, drop box, folx, skype, evernote etc.
And i found out something a bit annoying for VO users, that the system voice which is used for notifying stops the used voice over from doing anything while it gives the notification. For example, i would be reading an article on the web, and someone skypes me. Growl will speak what my friend tells me and i cannot do anything else with VO during that time though i use a different voice from system voice for navigating and everyday tasks. Could it be possible to allow both my voice over running alongside with growl notifications speaking in the background? I know this is possible as sometimes depending on when i am performing an action, both voice over and grolw notification speech do their things simultaneously.
