To answer myself, I believe I should go the same route as Growl Twitter plugin but use the different output device. I am also thinking that since Growl supports network notifications out of the box, I might just capture this traffic and send it wherever I need to. Is it possible to use php or similar to capture there incoming notifications? Anyone tried it yet?
