Growl v.1.2 Entourage 2008 v12.2.5 Mac OS X Snow Leopard v.10.6.3 I have always been using the eGrowl script for notifications of new emails in Entourage and have been very happy with how it works but now for my messages I need to sort them into categories when they arrive in my inbox. I have set up a rule in Entourage (for my IMAP account) like:
If "folder" is "inbox" and "only recipient" is "[email protected]" then "set category" to "Work". (I have my hotmail mesages forwarded to my gmail account and I want to sort my gmail messages from my hotmail messages in entourage but still be able to tell which address the original message was sent to so that I can then reply with the corresponding account.) I have placed this rule before the growl notifier rule in my list of rules so it should occur first, however when I receive new mail, the entourage script does not seem to work. If I rearrange so that the growl notifier rule occurs first, then my new set category rule does not seem occur. (I have tried alternative solutions with the Mailing List Manager, but it does not work pretty with my multiple accounts forwarded to my IMAP gmail account.) Does anyone know how I might go about get this to work? Thanks for reading, benabean -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Growl Discuss" group.
