Hi, I am using OSX 10.6.4 and MacSpeech Dictate version 1.5.9 and my current trick for accessibility is to use Growl and set it to use the speech display option. This way it announces choice one in the recognition window aloud for me.
I recently upgraded to Growl version 1.2.1 and now after each block of recognized text I hear “recognized text” followed by the text itself. I keep my recognition window open at all times. Previously, I would simply hear the text read without any sort of 'header.' I was hoping I could get used to it/ignore it. Just not happening. I really do need this feature. One interesting thing to note is that when I looked at the Growl settings for MacSpeech Dictate I noticed that the only notification is named “recognized text”. Is there anything I can do to fix this so that MSD and Growl behaves the way it used to? TIA, Lisa -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Growl Discuss" group.
