Ok, Maybe I'm missing something here, but I am unable to get the network
notifications to work.

The configuration is as follows:

MacBook (Late 2006) (Network name is Kira) running SL 10.6.4, and Growl
1.2.1 Set up to recieve networked notifications (Under the network tab,
"Listen for incoming notifications" and "Allow remote application
registration" are checked.

Mac Mini (Mid 2007) (Network name is Kira II) Running SL 10.6.4 and Growl
1.2.1; Set to forward network notifications to the machine called "Kira" and
the password set on Kira is in the box.

I tried to use growl notify to see if this would work. This was the result:

 growlnotify -H Kira.local
Enter a notification description, followed by newline, followed by Ctrl-D
(End of File). To cancel, press Ctrl-C.
testing
2010-09-07 13:23:21.152 growlnotify[3879:903] authentication failure:
received signature doesn't match computed signature
2010-09-07 13:23:21.155 growlnotify[3879:903] Authentication failed
Segmentation fault

Any suggestions would be useful...

Josh
