I've installed, re-installed, un-installed and re-installed Growl 1.2.1 on several occasions. I was able briefly yesterday to get notifications working after disabling the application "Google Notifier" as it appears there may have been some kind of conflict with it. Today though after restarting the computer (with Google Notifier no longer loading) I'm left with the same situation of no notifications.
I'm running Snow Leopard OS X 10.6.4 on a Intel Core Duo MacBook Pro. The issue with no notifications appearing seems to coincide with the update to 1.2+ for me. It doesn't appear to be crashing, but not notifications are rendering either to the screen or via Prowl Notifications. Previously the notifications were working flawlessly.
