While I like David's idea, for those not knowing about pressing the option key why not include a second close button (one having the standard 'X' in it and the other one with 3 'X's where the two others are offset from the original and a bit dimmer than the front-most). That way someone could image that not only this, but also all others get closed when pressing it.
