Growl Gurus,

Here is a request for a growl enhancement.

Consider this usecase:
I am sharing my screen for a meeting and going over a powerpoint for
the whos at my company (or, a colleague is in my cube and looking at
my screen as we work on a problem together). Now, my wife pings me on
adium to tell me <insert personal chat information here>.

In this case, my trusty growl will advertise my personal information
everywhere. That is not very nice.

Now, I could have (and actually do today) stop growl before sharing my
screen. But, the issue with that is, then when I restart growl, I
don't have an easy way of knowing which emails and IM chats I have
missed. This is where growl can become extremely useful.

I am suggesting that we have a privacy mode. When I turn on privacy
mode, all my growl notifications are stored in the background and not
displayed. When I turn off privacy mode, I see all the notifications
that I missed. Tada!

Thoughts?

tia,
rouble
