Hi there!

I have just installed Thunderbird Mail client. I am not entirely happy
with the notification settings with Thunderbird, as I keep my dock
invisible, and when I get an email I am not always aware. As the
notification will last a second, then disappear.

I then heard that Growl is a nice app that can help with my
notification issues, so I have now installed the latest version of
Growl, and have it working with Thunderbird.

My problem is now, that Im struggling to set-up a 'sticky'
notification.

Under Growl settings, I do not see a 'Sticky' option, only a
'duration' option under the different themes. And the duration seems
to max at 10seconds. Not enough for me.

I then had a look at the Thunderbird application settings under the
Growl preferences, and I see that there is a setting under the
Thunderbird Notification settings that give me a 'Display On Screen..'
with a few options.
The default option seems to be 'Growl decides', but I want to change
it to 'Always'.
So when I change it to always, the notifcations work I want them to.
When I get a new email, a pop-up appears, and stays there to I react
to it.

Brilliant stuff!

BUT..
When I restart my Mac, it seems to go back to default settings, and
returns my Notification setting to 'Growl Decides' instead of
'Always'.

Can someone assist me with this?
Is there some other way that I can make my Thunderbird Growl
notifications STAY on my screen till I click or close it?

Thanks for any help!
Simon
