I too fell into the group of Growl being installed by Dropbox, but unlike other users I'm not really upset about it. I have come to find the notifications of other apps that I use to be helpful. So I followed the procedure to uninstall Growl that Dropbox installed, and reinstalled v1.2.1. Now my question is can I still get notifications from Dropbox using 1.2.1 or when I reset the preference in Dropbox will it still try to install v1.2 and I will end up having two versions installed with v1.2 loading first?
