something that came out of the recent chromium issue conversations that i picked up that sounded quite interesting…
i am under the impression that current chrome notifications have a button on the notifications which opens up a menu allowing the user to disable further notifications from that source straight from the notification itself. while extra buttons on growl notifications are probably undesirable, i think the feature isn't half-bad, so i propose: a ctrl/right-click dropdown menu on notifications (possibly only from the (x) icon?), that provides the user with the option to: * disable notifications of this type from this application * disable all notifications from this application So, eg. for an Adium "User X disconnected" message, right-clicking on the (x) for that notification would open a drop-down with items: "Disable 'Contact signs off' notifications from Adium" "Disable all notifications from Adium" The former would effectively uncheck the Enabled checkbox for the Contact signs off notification. The later would effectively uncheck the Enabled checkbox for Adium itself. Discuss! :) Josh -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Growl Discuss" group.
