Recently, when I log in or launch new applications, I get many alerts
referring to internal files, each including the message
GrowlHelperApp cannot open files in the “GrowlHelperApp.app
Document” format.
The first time this happened, I tried to correct it by rebuilding
launch services. That didn't help, so I reinstalled Growl. That did
work, but only for a week. I do not want to reinstall Growl every
week. I can't imagine what could be doing this. I don't even use this
machine for development.
