Regardless what order my accounts were setup in Mail, growl kept requested access to one particular account. Turns out it does not recheck the mail account order until you restart Growl itself.

The thing is that the top account maybe not be the desired account for sending notifications When I finally got MailMe setup with MobileMe, the mails were not sent.
