Sparkle is great for users that have admin privileges, or for those who
do not need to archive installers for off-line reinstallation, etc.

Most of the Macs I maintain for staff and family do not have admin rights
on the user accounts, and the users do not have su rights to an admin
account. Further, some are on dialup, so updates are done via delivery of
a monthly archive DVD containing new version installers.

Please always continue to provide current version Growl installers in disk
images or archives via your web site (ideally with the file name indicating
the version of Growl contained). Using Sparkle is great, but it will kill
installability and upgrades on many machines if it's the only option.
