I can't get Growl 1.2.2 to install too. It was previously installed on my iMac and sent me a notification to update to 1.2.2. So, I downloaded the Growl-1.2.2.dmg package and double clicked it. That brought up the installation dialog, but when I double clicked the "Double-click to Install button" nothing happened.
So, I thought maybe I have to uninstall the old Growl, which I did by clicking the "Uninstall Growl.app" button, which worked. But when again, nothing happened when I double clicked the "Double-click to Install" button. So now I don't have any Growl, and can't install it. Weird.
