So the networking protocol in Growl 1.2.x is really.. well it doesn't work well. Some people get it working great, then others just don't. Keep that in mind. Also keep in mind that we're changing to a different protocol in 1.3. We're hoping to have 1.3 our by end of July, or in the August time frame in the app store, but we'll of course see.
Now, on this, you haven't really said what the current configuration is. Also, not how your mac is configured with regards to firewalls, nor if it's on the same subnet/network or not. Our protocol uses UDP, so bear in mind that it's also not routable. You also haven't said if the macs are even showing up based on the Bonjour support provided by the Growl networking, so we'd need to find out that as well. Basically, let's start over.
