Growl did not install itself, and you do not need the uninstaller to remove
Growl, it's just there to try to make your life easier rather than perform 4-6
manual steps. I'm working on the new website design and will make sure that the
third party installs page links to the manual removal steps. I'm out and typing
this on my phone or I'd be a bit lengthier.

I do think that you rushed to judgement about us. However we'll help you remove
Growl if it is still on your System. We can't stop other companies from
installing Growl but we are working towards a better solution to eliminate
their need to do so. If the application that installed Growl is not on the
third party installations page, Please let us know.
