Ya, you can drop the Growl 1.2.2 framework into the Skype application bundle 
contents (you'll have to dig around to do it) and it should work. 

That said, I don't expect it to work long term when sandboxing hits the OS X 
world. But until then you can perform this workaround and get it to work 
probably.
