Thanks Chris, I downgraded and it went perfectly. There were a couple of annoyances such as not being able to hide the menu bar icon, and not being able to turn off the notification roll-up window.
I'll keep an eye out for updates to 1.3 to see if things change, but for now 1.2.2 works perfectly for my needs. Cheers!
