Not really, with css themes safari does some funny antialiasing if you have
subpixel antialiasing

Just a quick comparison.

First one has     -webkit-font-smoothing: subpixel-antialiased;
and the second one    -webkit-font-smoothing: antialiased;

It really looks boldish compared to the other one.
