Dear Growl Team, Thanks, for having made Growl 1.3 possible and my transition to it so smooth !
Yes, it has been smooth ! I did not use the uninstaller to uninstall Growl 1.2.2 but my brain ! When I have seen that "Growl 1.2.2 was already installed but not from the MAS", I have suspected future problems if it was still there when I will install 1.3 so : - I quitted the MacAppStore app and - I jumped to the Preferences Panes and clicked on the icon of Growl, - clicked on the button that said "Stop Growl", - clicked on the button that says "Show all" on the Preferences toolbar - done a right click on Growl while thinking "Growl Prefpane, adios !" - clicked on the only menu option that appears to remove the prefpane ! - returned to MAS app and bought, installed and run Growl 1.3 without any problem ! In fact, there's a little problem but not with the install of Growl but when I am using it ! I find the rollup notification window too present and would love to be able to put it in the background !
