Hi, I'm new to this group and took the exhortation at <http://growl.info/ contact.php> to use it literally… 'If you need help with Growl, then our discussions google group is the best place to get help. This list is subscribed to by hundreds upon hundreds of people all interested in Growl.'
So far no luck - either here or by email to the good folk at Growl itself. Was considering the paid update; but may stick with the System Preference if support doesn't really exist :-( I'm trying to get help for the possible conflict that would occur were I to buy the upgrade (v 1.3) and then some errant app back-install 1.2.n, given that the instructions for uninstalling the older Pref Pane are quite specific.
