try the following: * quit Skype * in growl, go to preferences->applications and remove Skype if it is listed there. this will ensure it's options are fresh when it registers again * download growl version detective from here http://growl.info/downloads * run growl version detective, go to the frameworks pane. once it's loaded, click on Skype and hit the upgrade framework button * open Skype, go to preferences->notifications you should be able to select growl from the 'visual notification' options; do so.
growl notifications should then be working. note that at least with the latest version of Skype, not all events come through as notifications. check the events under skype's notification preferences to see the ones that do.
