need help. I recently installed Growl 1.3.1 via the App store on my Lion 10.7.2 system. First of all everything worked fine and all notifications from Dropbox, Bittorrent, skype, etc. were delivered properly. A few das later I relaized that there were multiple growl icons in my menu and therefore multiple versions installed. I checked control panel and removed the preference pane for 1.2.2. THis is when Growl 1.3.1 stopped delivering notifications. I checked out the troubleshooting section and completely removed everything Growl using the uninstaller and manually in the libraries. I verified success by using the Version detective. After that i reinstalled 1.3.1 via the App store. No notifications delivered. repeated the process of removing, reinstalling several times and checked out further troubleshooting options - no luck. Right now I do have a clean 1.3.1 only installation on my system, no older version and no remaining preference panes and still no new notifications. Anybody knows a fix? I am highly unsatisfied and lately I got the feeling that macs are not so troublefree anymore....Any help here is highly appreciated. thanks in advance!
