OK - I finally figured out that the flashing menubar item is because I have unviewed items in my history. (At least that is what I think it means). Does this mean that if I want to prevent the flashing in the future, I need to turn off history? I like having the history there (could be helpful for problem solving at some point), but I don't need to be reminded constantly that it is there.
Also - why was the menubar icon not flashing on my laptop? I mentioned I have the same setup, and also have unviewed history there. -Barry On Nov 8, 2:42 pm, bfishman <[email protected]> wrote: > I am using Growl 1.3.1 on an iMac running 10.7.2, and for the past two > days my Growl menubar item has been flashing on and off (more like > "pulsing," but you get my meaning). > > Why is this? > > I have completely turned off the "Rollup" in settings. > > I have quit and restarted Growl. > > I have restarted my whole machine. > > But still it flashes/pulses. > > What is Growl trying to tell me, and how do I make it stop? > > -Barry > > P.S.
