I am having multiple issues with the newest App Store Growl on my new
MacBook Air.

1. No matter which setting I choose, notifications appear in the upper-
right corner. The preferences pane is set to the lower-left corner.
2. Notifications appear for a fraction of a second, and then disappear
before I can even read them. No change in preferences affects this
behavior.
3. Nothing gets sent to the Rollup bar or the history. These both
remain blank, even though Skype notifications appear.

I have used the version detective to make sure my apps are using the
correct framework.
I have hunted for old pre-1.3 files to make sure nothing remained from
old versions (found nothing).
I did follow instructions to remove 1.2 properly before installing the
app store version.
I conducted a user permissions repair from the Disk Utility.
I have tried removing 1.3, installing 1.2 (didn't work), removing 1.2
and installing 1.3 again to see if the jogged anything. Same behavior.

Now, $1.99 ain't no big deal, and I'm glad to pay a token sum for such
a useful app, but to go from free and 100% functional to paid and
utterly broken and useless - bit of a slap in the face, I'd say.

If the rollup/history function worked, I wouldn't care about the other
stuff.

Any suggestions?
