This has been mentioned here (and even other sites!) before.
Basically, what the display is showing is that the app will start at
login because the "ON" option has been used and it is now not a valid
input. In other words, the position is already "ON" so the only other
choice would be "OFF."

Of course, you don't actually need this pref setting at all. You can
manually put anything you want in the "LogIn items" tab/list in your
"Users & Groups" System Preferences Panel. ;-)
