One "advantage" of the App Store (for the Mac or your iOS devices) is that you only pay for them once. When things work normally, the App Store will 'see' that the app is missing and allow you to re-download your purchased app(s). Give that a try and see how it goes. ;-) Note that even updating an app will over-write the current version of that app on your drive. That is normally fine. But, occasionally, the new version may not work on your System. Or (rare as it may be) the new version may have a bug that escapes the developer's testing! To avoid the problems this may cause, ALWAYS make an archived copy of a current app BEFORE updating/upgrading. Why not use the handy "Compress" (previously called "Archive") menu item (found in Finder- >File)? Apple went to the trouble to create the function and you've already paid for it. ;-) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Growl Discuss" group.
