Well I visually opened the respective folders and looked for anything
with growl in its name.  I used spotlight but didn't see anything that
look like it might be it.  Used easy find but nothing listed had an
extrension of .dmg and I was not sure of what the other returns were.
I did find a growl file in preference panes.   Deletedit but again it
was not a .dmg file.  I went on line and downloaded the growl
uninstaller.  Did not know about it,  Ran it and it reported that
growl was successfully uninstalled so Hopefully it is gone now.
