I had this issue. And I've found a solution in another discussion. Run in the terminal following commands:
sudo mv /Applications/Growl.app/Contents/PlugIns/Whiteboard.growlStyle/ Contents/info.plist /Applications/Growl.app/Contents/PlugIns/ Whiteboard.growlStyle/Contents/Info.plist sudo mv /Applications/Growl.app/Contents/PlugIns/Darkroom.growlStyle/ Contents/info.plist /Applications/Growl.app/Contents/PlugIns/ Darkroom.growlStyle/Contents/Info.plist Also you may open content of Growl.app in Finder and rename both info.plist files into Info.plist.
