Apologies for this, one of the CPU hangs we were having was caused by the blocking call we made to get URL based icons,and we ran out of time to get it fixed properly in either 1.3.3 or 1.4. We have a ticket filed against this: http://code.google.com/p/growl/issues/detail?id=423 presently filed against 2.0 (our next major version). CallBack-Target url support will be coming in Growl 1.4.
