…as for the about tab, mine says 1.3.3, so it sounds like the update perhaps 
went awry. Although if you have it localised to nl, it may not have been 
updated for your language, I guess.

Your best bet to make sure—if it is not turning up in the updates tab of the 
app store—is to simply delete Growl.app from your applications folder (don't 
forget to quit growl first) and then reinstall from the App Store. You won't 
lose any settings doing this.
