I can't uninstall Growl and have used all of the uninstallers for every version I've ever downloaded and a fresh uninstaller from the Growl website. None of them uninstalled the stuff in Mail which Mail (on the Mac) gives an error message for every time I start Mail. The message says it is disabled as there are later versions.
I trashed the com.growl preferences and growl folder (after the uninstall failed) but this also didn't work.
