I'm assuming there are countless people in the same boat as me. I had Growl when it first came out a while ago and loved it. After installing OS X Snow Leopard and then Lion, it was one of the first applications I wanted to purchase from the app store (I wanted it mainly for email and Twitter notifications). I wasn't expecting to see such a poor rating for a product I had enjoyed so much in the past. I have since been checking almost daily for an update but none have come out since January!?
If anybody from Growl is reading this, please make it useful again. Otherwise, I recommend to any developers out there to create a decent alternative. I, along with many current Growl users, will give you our business I'm sure.
