Hi, this is a problem that has been bugging me for a while. Growl consistently repeats old notifications on a lot of applications. For example, in twitter, I get a lot of notifications for direct messages and mentions (from months ago), but the twitter client itself knows better and doesn't show them as new. Also in Sparrow, when I get a new mail in one account, I get notified of the new mail + 2 more mails in another account, although there are no new emails on that one other account. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the conflict apps, no success either.
As you can probably guess this is very annoying. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and also removed the app with AppZapper, with no success.
