It seems that Growl 2.0.1 is turning on the discrete graphics on my Mid 2010 MBP running OS X 10.8.3. I just installed the 10.8.3 update and honestly I hadn't be paying attention before, but gfxCardStatus now lists Growl as a GPU dependency. It's also listing Dropbox so maybe it's a system issue or Apple API change? Is there anyway to change this behavior?
