>From looking at utorrent's own support forum and release notes, it
appears they hardcoded it to use Notification Center on Mountain Lion
rather than update to our newer framework that would give them the
best of both (NC for those without growl, growl for those who prefer
it).  Do you know if it supports some form of script execution? I see
mentions of being able to run a program/script on completion of
download, but can only find references to doing this in the windows
version so far.  Would be happy to help you write such a script if you
aren't a programmer, but I don't have utorrent installed to check if
that option is available.
