Some time ago Growl showed up on my system. I contacted Growl and was given instructions to delete it. Now it has shown up again. I followed the instructions "Uninstall Growl 1.2.2 Manually (or any version prior to 1.3). I had 1.2 Item #9 in the instructions say Growl will now be in the trash. Empty the trash ... The Growl icon disappeared from the System Preferences window but is NOT in the trash. I'm concerned that it may not have been deleted and is somewhere it shouldn't be. It does not show up in Spotlight
In addition, my computer has been acting strange lately, crashing, freezing, etc. Could Growl be the cause?
