My Macbook Pro running OS 10.6.8 growls constantly. It is maddening. Ran the uninstaller many, many times. Sometimes it works, but usually not. There is no rdio or growl on/off selection in preferences. Even did a wipe and clean install, but it came right back. no info of growl version found anywhere on the machine. I don't need this notification and have come to truly hate it, can't concentrate with it running constantly. Does anyone know how to remove this growl permanently abd forever? I will pay you if you do!!!
